I went back to work today. I was first in but turned the alarm off without drama.
The sad news of the day is that the Goodwood picture fell down, scattering glass all over the house, breaking the frame and tearing the poster. I am really, really sad, (not just because it has meant a lot of sweeping, vacuuming and mopping when I got back from work!)
Nerida did the big initial clean up as she discovered the disaster. She handed over to Sue, (the children that is, not the disaster). The children had a good day, cooking, drawing, reading and playing. All went well and seemed calm.
I miss you this evening, tired after work. I did enjoy my lunch time jog. Lovely and hot but with a fresh breeze.
