Cheddar was my choice of a day out; spectacular scenery, caves, a long walk AND yummy food!
We enjoyed the caves, except for Bethany who had to leave because it was a bit scary. Harrison listened very carefully to the audio guide. We climbed the lookout tower and then Jon persuaded us to go on a "short walk" which was in fact 3 miles to the highest point of the gorge. We saw lots of goats. Harrison became very fond of a rock that he carried most of the way. Nanny's knees weren't quite up to hiking up the other side so we took a short cut along the road once we descended which meant we got great views from both the top and bottom of the gorge. Finally we enjoyed some yummy English food. We had tea at Uncle Darren's with Jaz, Max, Uncle Adrian and family but I gave them a break and let them catch up without my camera
