We are here! The plane trip went much better than we expected (but our expectations were pretty low). Harrison slept for 4 of the 6 hours from Gatwick to Dubai, and for about 6 of the 14 hours from Dubai to Sydney. He loved the big air bus we flew in the second leg, and climbing up the few stairs to the toilet was a favourite pass time. He also enjoyed watching the movies on his personal screen and the many activities Aunty Nerida had posted for us to take with us.
It is sunny and warm, this first week of our holiday we have had air temperatures in the high twenties and water temperatures in the low twenties. We went to Dee Why beach the second day we were here and have been back a couple of times since. Harrison loves the waves and the sand. Rochelle and Calvin joined us and Calvin and Bethany enjoyed time on the towel together. It is lovely having McCredie family to play with.
