Up until June 2015 Jon and I both had Mondays off work. This particular Monday we climbed up one of the Harbour Bride Pylons and then wandered around "The Rocks" area of Sydney, enjoying a lunch out together.
We did not know at the time that this would be our last Monday date for the year; as our lives were about to be turned upside down.
I am so grateful for the time we had, and I am glad that, on the day, I knew how fortunate and privileged we were to have time together. I did not take it for granted, and I valued it before I lost it.
So these photos are bitter sweet.
