Friday 3rd December and school was cancelled again. We do love the snow, but we are packing boxes so indoors is not a great place for two children. Jon threaded a skipping rope through the lid of our sandpit and we headed into Chichester. Harrison loved being towed along the icy lanes, and was disappointed when we explained we couldn't tow him through the main car park. When we reached Priory Park we discovered the lid made a super sledge, as it spun around slowly while sliding down the hill. After lots of turns Bethany started crying. She was wearing lots of layers and for once her hands were covered (has to be gloves not mittens) so it wasn't the cold, it took us a little while to work out that she was hungry! We had been having so much fun we had forgotten lunch! We parked our sandpit outside a cafe and chocolate cake soon restored her good humour.
