Harrison was fascinated by the "castle". We eventually persuaded him it was a very old church. It is old! One of its most famous features is the 11th century chancel arch generally believed to have been built shortly after the Norman Conquest of 1066. Harrison is pointing out how high the Saxon tower is.

Harrison spent ages looking over the inside of the church and took this picture of the alter.

On a less historic note we fed some ducks at the bridge near the church. At least, all of us except Bethany who announced "duck" and then promptly ate the bread given to her to feed them.

We saw some ducklings looking down the wall near the yacht club but were pleased when they came closer on safer ground to be fed.

Ice-cream!
