Jon's brother, Darren, is a brave man. He took his children, Jasmine and Max, camping for two weeks in Wales. Wales can be very wet and very windy, and for the first week of their holiday it was! Adrian and Josh joined them for a weekend and we visited them all at their campsite in Pembroke, West Wales. The children excitedly introduced us to the cows on the farm and took us to explore rock pools. Darren and Adrian talked of flooded tents that nearly blew away during the night. We booked into a B&B. There was no flooding or clinging to tent poles, just long hot bubbles baths and cooked breakfasts. The next day, while his cousins were jumping off rocks into freezing cold water in the rain, we took Harry to Pembroke castle. He was much more interested in the flood lights than the historic ruin.
Jon, Heather, Harrison and Bethany Baker now back in Sydney..a way of staying in touch with friends...
