Christmas in July Party

Even though the weather isn't very wintry by English standards we thought we'd use the cooler weather to have Christmas in July party.  We invited families from Harrison's class and had 16 children and 14 adults.

We decorated Grandma's Christmas tree and put it outside the front door so everyone knew where the party was.
We put stockings over the fire place, but instead of a fire we put in some Christmas lights.
 We made holly biscuits...
...and Christmas stars and my friend Kylie Anne helped the children make some Rudolph antlers
We served mulled wine and mince pies and sausage rolls..
...played some parachute games (although the trampoline and digging in our mulch pile were quite popular activities too)
Jon told the Christmas story.  It was a fun day!!!
