Cousin fun, local bird life

A lovely part of living in Sydney is being close to cousins.

Scott (Heather's brother) brought all his gardening equipment around to sort out our garden.  His son Calvin brought his toy lawn mower "lawner". He kindly lent it to Harrison and here they are, ears protected and ready to go!

Bethany's time with Calvin was somewhat more creative (and messy!)

Here is a rainbow lorikeet who visited us while we were at a park, to see if we had any food to share. There are lots at school and one day Harrison came home to announce that "A rainbow lorikeet ate my cracker!"

They gave up on us and went and had a drink instead.

Bethany likes to do everything herself. "I do it" As she refuses help this is how she swings.
