On the Saturday before her first birthday we had a party for Bethany. 18 children and almost as many adults celebrated with us. We hired the church hall and used all the toys from play group as well as some games and air hockey for the older children (and dads!) Mum and I made a butterfly cake and some flower cakes to share, as well as lots of party treats. It was special to have Mum and Dad with us. Harrison refused to smile for the family photo, but really enjoyed playing air hockey. Bethany just loved playing, especially with the car park toy. She shared it with Eduardo, who is older than her by only a few days.
