We had a lovely holiday at Centre Parcs, a holiday village. Jon's mum came with us. The village is in a beautiful forest, and the best way to get around is to cycle. Fortunately, Harrison loved riding on the back of Jon's bike. He called out, "Weeeee Daddy bike FUN!" He enjoyed spotting "wabbits" and feeding ducks, although he did get disappointed when the birds flew away. He loved spending time with Nanny, getting very upset if she went out of sight for a moment, and appreciated her fruit cake declaring, "Nanny cake nice". Most afternoons we went swimming. He enjoyed the slides when he could be persuaded to try them but was more interested in splashing and blowing bubbles.
We spent most of the week enjoying Harrison, and curling up with books in front of the fire when he had a sleep. We were blessed with lots of sunshine. It was a little hard to come home, but we are back in routine now.
