"Autumn Celebration"

On Saturday 6th October we went to the Weald & Down Autumn Celebration. Harrison wanted to personally greet every dog who came (and there were a LOT!) He was less sure of the larger animals, but tried to stick his fingers up several horses' noses. Jon and Grandad were more interested in the steam machines on display and the food for sale.

Harrison is now 18 months old. He chats away all the time, but his only discernable words are "shoes", "Dad-deee" and "there". He uses the word "there" to mean either "give me that" or "what is that?" He doesn't say the word no, but can shake his head very firmly. He loves singing and holds the tune to many songs and enjoys doing the actions. At play groups when every else sits in the circle to sing, he likes to stand in the middle and dance and smile at all the pretty girls.

Jon is busy at work, the new service starts in November. We have to vacate our flat next week as the land lady is returning. We were hoping to go away but Jon has too much work to do. We were very grateful when some friends in Chichester said that they were going away that week and offered us their home. They have two cats, so Harrison will enjoy his stay there (the cats less so I suspect!)
