On the wekeend we went to Weston to see the Bakers. Harrison and I, (Heather) caught the train from Chichester to Bristol and then Weston. Despite my best efforts to point them out, Harrison was not the least interested in the sheep, pigs or trains we could see from the window. He was VERY interested in the wheels of his own buggy and the mobile phone of the man sitting next to me.
Jon was working on Saturday but joined us in the evening. We stayed with Jon's mum and Harrison LOVED her dog Tansy. He chased her around the house, and when she stopped and cowered, he either waved his arms and around and laughed in excitment, or tried to kiss her ears. We spent the days trying to hide the dog and distract Harrison, who cried when she disappeared.
As usual Nanny Baker cooked up a storm for Sunday lunch and we saw most of the family. Harrison loved cousins Jade and Josh almost as much as Tansy.
Jon is busy at work, he was at college at lunch time and tonight he is leading the 'Walk through the Bible' group. I am a play group junkie, and go to groups on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is great to have time with other mothers and for Harrison to have bigger space to play. Now that it is lovely and sunny we can also go to the park. When I can distract Harrison from the wheels of all the other buggies he does enjoy the swing.
As you can see, no exciting news from Chichester. How are things with you?
