We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great time at Weston with the Bakers. Harrison did enjoy the people and the toys. Contrary to predictions he wasn't that interested in the wrapping paper, but very interested in the tags taped to the paper. His favourite presents were a tractor (complete with Old MacDonald music and animal noises) and some plastic fish. Nanny Baker was very excited to have all her grandchildren together and wanted a lovely group photo. Harrison, who spent most of the celebrations smiling, chose this moment to be scared, his bottom lip stuck WAY out and trembled and the photos show the tears rolling down his cheeks.
On Boxing Day Jon spent hours with Darren and Max, (brother and nephew)building a lego airport and aeroplane. I think that was the best Christmas present Jon got!
We are safely back in Weston. Harrison is pulling himself up to standing. He is very annoyed that the kitchen cupboards are smooth with no grip or ledge to pull on, but has discovered that he can get a good grip on mummy's jeans as she stands at the sink.
Keep in touch in 2007!
