The three of us had 3 nights at Jervis Bay on the south coast of New South Wales. Incidentally, from my limited travelling in Wales, NSW is nothing like the original South Wales, (although they are both beautiful in their own way!)
Jervis Bay is 8 1/2 times the size of Sydney Harbour. We stayed right on a beautiful sandy beach, with really white sand. It was a fun and relaxing time. We went on a whale watching cruise, and saw no whales. We did see some dolphins and survived leaving the bay and being tossed about on the ocean. Neither of us were sea sick, although Harrison was sick all over Jon's new camera. It was hard to say whether this was sea sickness or just his stomach's usual reaction to all his own rolling about. He just laughed!
Harrison was not a huge fan of the surf, we think he thought it was a bit cold. We went swimming and Harrison ate the sand.
